Kia K9

The K9 from Kia now has pictures. It is a rear wheel drive sedan luxury sedan based off of the Hyundai Genesis.  To me, the car looks very familiar, in a negative way. The front end recalls the BMW 5 series GT, and the profile looks a little like a Jaguar XF. At least it still looks luxurious, though, with a large grille, LED lighting elements, large wheels and plenty of chrome.  Whether this car will be sold in the United States will be a mystery for now. I'm not sure it will be successful here. It is essentially a re-skinned  Hyundai Genesis, and I don't expect consumers to be ready for three luxury Korean cars. Kia says otherwise, however, stating that the K9 is on of the " most eagerly anticipated all-new models in Korea and overseas markets .” Yeah, right. Like the name wasn't cheesy enough (it will be called something else in markets other than South Korea). On the other note, I'm sure it will appeal to some people if it is priced low enough. U

Lincoln Town Car Review

The Lincoln Town Car is certainly a dinosaur of sort. It has been for a long time, and has now ceased production. It is, however, a very plush, comfortable, and good looking dinosaur. The Town Car's rear end. I tested the Town Car on a trip in Washington State. My first impression when my father drove it off the rental car lot was that it's huge. There is plenty of space to stretch out on the big, soft leather seats. Not only that, but the ride was so incredibly smooth. It soaked up parking lot speed bumps like a sponge would soak up water.  Once you're on the highway, the interior noise level never gets high. It's all hushed. When it comes to passing though, that's when things get a little worse. The 4.6 liter eight cylinder engine, though just as smooth as the ride, is not powerful. Part of the reason is that the engine is really old, and Ford has neglected to update it. I mean, it still has two valves per cylinder! The other part is the four speed automat

Irritating Drivers

Some people on the road today really should get a sense of what you should do while on the road. On a recent survey, Americans voted that texters are the most annoying people driving. I completely agree. Seriously, people should really be looking at the road while driving, not your phone's screen. I really wouldn't want to get in an accident just because somebody decided that his/her conversation with a friend was more important than his/her own life, not to mention other people's. Then there are the traffic jams. Most of the time, it's because there's simply too many cars. In certain cases, however, people slow down too look at an accident on the other side of the road. It's really frustrating. Satisfying your curiosity doesn't justify having to back up the entire highway.  Another thing I really dislike is when people drive huge-butt trucks and take up space in a parking space at the supermarket, leaving no space for anyone else to park in the sp

I Got a Blog!

My parents' two cars. I have had an interest in cars for many years, whether it was researching specifications, reading reviews, or keeping up with the latest car news. My parents thought that all my knowledge of cars was going to waste so they encouraged me to make a blog. By the way, the reason I can review cars that are not my own is because my family travels every year, and most cars I review are rental cars. Anyways, enjoy my blog!
